Earth Day 5K Run/Walk

Race Course: The 1 mile and 5K course is flat, runner friendly and completely within the wooded portion of the southern end of the Greenbelt Trail.
Both races are open to all ages,
5k Awards: Male and female winners will be awarded custom-made medallions in the following categories:
Overall, Master 40+, Female Senior 55+, Male Senior 55+
And the top three males and females from
| 9 and under | 30-34 | 55-59 |
| 10-14 | 35-39 | 60-64 |
| 15-19 | 40-44 | 65-69 |
| 20-24 | 45-49 | 70-74 |
| 25-29 | 50-54 | 75-79 |
1mile Awards: Ribbons will be given to all finishers of the 1 mile run who are 12 and under. Medals will be given to the top girls and boys in the following categories:
5 & under; 5-6; 7-8; 9-10; 11-12
There will be Earth Day activities for children after the 1 mile run.
In the spirit of Earth Day, please carpool to cut down on pollution and help with parking issues.
Recycle your favorite bib number if you'd like to run with your number.
If you are interested in a plant swap, please bring some of your favorites (please label) to trade with your fellow plant enthusiasts!
Bring your old running shoes to be recycled by NIKE and made into running tracks for schools!
