ODELA

 The Outdoor Environmental Learning Area (ODELA) is a 7,000 square foot aquatic, geological, and archaeological classroom designed for hands-on exploration by students of all ages.  ODELA is a unique learning environment where students can:

  • Develop archaeological skills while searching for cultural remains in the Excavation Dig 
  • Explore the intricate aspects of water as it begins its journey at the Waterfall, continues through the river, and empties into the pond.

ODELA is open to the public from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekday during the month of September through May and by appointment June through August.
